Prius Bomber

FIXED GEAR SERIES 05 of 06
Intrigued by the extreme proportions of time trial bikes he couldn't resist giving his old Specialized road bike a complete make-over. Yuval refrained from using paint and thereby exposes the raw aluminum & carbon fiber entirely. Inspired by scratched-up messenger bikes he would intentionally "scratch" the frame to create a checker-flag pattern further emphasizing the competitive nature of this ride.

Just returned from the Day Spa

FIXED GEAR SERIES 04 of 06
What used to be just a pile of old rusty parts has been given a new life. Romy's bike was entirely build from reconditioned components & a blue salvaged Japanese frame. It equally features beautiful old-school craftsmanship, athletic proportions, and contemporary colors.

Yuval's Ciocc road bike conversion entirely revolves around the roots of a bike he acquired on ebay years ago. The fact that it was originally created for the Olympics in Moscow 1980 lends this creation its theme. Details and color scheme subtly reference Soviet symbolism.

Time Capsule

FIXED GEAR SERIES 02 of 06
Alex has been riding bicycles for as long as he can remember. He converted his very first road bike, a Univega that his father gave him when he turned 16. As a bike fanatic his love for cars seems paradox. The patina on the frame and bright orange Deep-Vs merge SoCal car culture with fixed gear culture drawing a metaphoric connection between his past and present.

Ugly Duckling

FIXED GEAR SERIES 01 of 06
There are just a few hints revealing the original identity of the Bianchi Pista. The transformation of this bike is the work of a "Hacker" who disobeyed any boundaries established by the brand. He carefully evaluated & optimized each component to achieve a highly refined and personal vehicle despite its bland roots. Inspired by messenger bikes covered with tape and stickers, Gana applied a second skin not only to protect the frame from the environment but also elevating scratch marks as a stylistic theme.
